We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialty Doctor in Acute Ophthalmology to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Hold a Medical Degree and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
- Be a holder of a Postgraduate qualification Part 1 FRCOphth and Refraction Examination.
- Have Full registration and a licence to practice with the General Medical Council at the time of application.
- Have completed Basic Training.
- Comprehensive experience in the management of acute and chronic ophthalmic problems.
- Have undertaken a minimum of 50 performed supervised, cataract operations.
- Skills in interpretation of retinal and ultrasound imaging.
- Basic skills in application of intravitreal drugs.
- Experience in retinal laser treatments.
- Research and publications in the field of Ophthalmology.
- Distinctions or prizes in academic achievements.
- Experience in audit and quality improvement.
