Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Coordinator to join our team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust. As a Patient Access Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient access services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient appointments and schedules to ensure efficient use of resources
- Manage patient communication and correspondence to ensure timely and effective communication
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor and report on patient access metrics to inform service improvements
- Provide administrative support to the patient access team as needed
Requirements:
- Good basic education, GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of Microsoft applications (training will be provided)
- Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously when required
