Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our children's home in Plymouth. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our young people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the individual needs of each young person.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Ensure the home is safe and secure, and that all policies and procedures are followed.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of our young people.
  • Participate in care planning and review meetings, and contribute to the development of our services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of childcare legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A full UK driving license.
