Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our children's home in Plymouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each young person.
- Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to promote the welfare of our young people.
- Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard, meeting the needs of our young people and adhering to regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staff to ensure the effective delivery of care services.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a residential care setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of childcare legislation, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
