About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Dams and Reservoirs team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for shaping the future of our cities and environments.
Your Responsibilities
- Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
- Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Set quality assurance standards in design.
- Grow, develop, and manage dams and reservoirs engineering capability within the practice.
Requirements
- Chartered Civil Engineer.
- Currently are or working towards being a Reservoir Supervising Engineer.
- Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and/or geotechnical engineering as applied to the management and design of dams and reservoirs and their associated hydraulic structures.
- In-depth knowledge of current UK design standards, guidance, and working practices, including the Reservoirs Act.
