Exciting Opportunity for a Tenant Engagement Specialist

A remarkable position has opened up for a Tenant Engagement Specialist to join one of Adecco's esteemed clients on a permanent basis.

This is a full-time role with a flexible working arrangement, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Welfare and Support Officer to design and implement a variety of social and physical activities tailored for tenants across multiple care sites.
  • Report to the Head of Housing, Care & Support regarding the effectiveness of activities in enhancing tenant wellbeing.
  • Facilitate site-specific Tenant Meetings and bi-monthly Tenant Panel meetings, ensuring tenant voices are heard and considered in service delivery.
  • Gather and analyze data to assess tenant engagement in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Support and promote volunteering initiatives for tenants and external volunteers.
  • Develop a comprehensive program that empowers tenants to influence the types of activities offered, ensuring they align with their needs and aspirations.
  • Organize inclusive activities that cater to the diverse needs of individuals, including those with dementia, while fostering community connections.
  • Plan community outings with careful consideration of transport logistics and accessibility.
  • Identify potential risks and conduct assessments to ensure tenant safety during all planned activities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and training to enhance service delivery.
  • Participate in regular performance reviews and maintain a record of personal growth and development.
  • Be prepared to travel across designated areas as required.
  • Exhibit flexibility to work evenings and weekends occasionally to facilitate activities and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or knowledge in working with older adults, particularly those facing vulnerabilities.
  • Understanding of the challenges associated with dementia and how to address them.
  • Proven ability to create engaging and innovative activities.
  • Familiarity with social housing or experience in the statutory or voluntary sectors.
  • A compassionate and customer-focused approach to service delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently.
  • Willingness to pursue further training as necessary for the role.
