Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Officer to join our team at the University of Central Lancashire. The successful candidate will play a key role in the development and delivery of our blended programme in medicine, working closely with the medical programme team and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Assessment Support Structures
    • Design and implement assessment frameworks to support student learning and achievement
    • Collaborate with academic staff to develop and refine assessment tools and processes
  • Work with the Medical Programme Team
    • Provide operational support to the medical programme team, including coordination of meetings and events
    • Assist with the development of programme materials and resources
  • Support the Development of a Postgraduate Diploma in International Medical Sciences (PGIMS)
    • Contribute to the design and development of the PGIMS programme, including curriculum development and assessment
    • Work with academic staff to ensure the programme meets the needs of students and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Undergraduate Degree and Relevant Experience
    • Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as education, business, or healthcare
    • Have recent experience of managing complex administrative processes in a service-focused environment
  • Strong Technical Skills
    • Have strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
    • Be able to work with complex data and large databases
  • Positive Attitude and Ability to Plan and Adapt to Change
    • Have a positive attitude and be able to plan and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
    • Be able to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
