Audit Intermediate Expectations
  • Fieldwork
  • Complete all testing excluding complex areas
  • Complete tasks set by the audit senior/manager
  • Take responsibility for completing work assigned
  • Ensure any issues arising from work assigned have been flagged
  • Working papers are neat and tidy to follow
  • Ensuring completion of the audit and accounts programmes
  • Effective communication with the senior/manager
  • Providing regular updates to the senior/manager
  • Handover to senior/manager at end of audit
  • Check-up with new Corporate Services Assistants to ensure they are comfortable with their tasks set
  • Answering queries
  • Inform senior/manager of additional training needs
  • Keep up to date with technical updates on Teams and implement changes on audit files immediately
  • Minimum of 3 years' generalist experience in an audit role, within practice.
  • Willingness to combine the demands of a full-time role whilst studying for professional qualifications.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
