Join Our Team as a Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Tampa Gardens Senior Living. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in managing a personal tax portfolio, including complex cases and high net worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a personal tax portfolio, including complex cases and high net worth individuals
  • Ensure tax returns are completed and filed by the deadline
  • Complete and comply with all tax return control procedures
  • Check and update client PAYE codes
  • Perform National Insurance calculations
  • Deal with client and HMRC correspondence
  • Prepare trust and partnership returns
  • Undertake complex Capital Gains Tax calculations
  • Undertake income tax planning for clients
  • Train junior staff in tax responsibilities
  • Assist the tax manager in ensuring junior staff manage their portfolio
  • Billing clients
  • Manage own training records
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of taxation and firm software packages
  • Awareness of departmental objectives and key performance indicators
  • Ability to use sector software, including accounts preparation, Excel, Word, and email systems
  • Adapt to different audiences and present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Willingness to combine full-time role with studying for further qualifications
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and IT applications
