We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Tampa Gardens Senior Living. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our clients' tax returns, while also providing expert advice on tax planning and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a portfolio of complex tax cases, including high net worth individuals and businesses.
- Ensure timely completion and filing of tax returns, including compliance with all tax return control procedures.
- Update client PAYE codes and perform National Insurance calculations.
- Deal with client and HMRC correspondence, including preparation of trust and partnership returns.
- Undertake complex CGT calculations and income tax planning for clients.
- Train junior staff in tax procedures and ensure they are managing their portfolios effectively.
- Billing clients and maintaining accurate training records.
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of taxation and proficiency in sector software, including accounts preparation, Excel, Word, and email systems.
- Awareness of departmental objectives and key performance indicators.
- Ability to adapt to different audiences and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Willingness to combine the demands of a full-time role with studying for further qualifications.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel, and proficiency in IT applications.
