Job SummaryThe Managing Consultant will lead commercial growth, develop service areas, and ensure quality delivery against clients' needs. They will drive revenue expectations, lead proposal development, and coach team members to improve performance.
About the Role- Lead major proposals and pitches, identifying optimal teams and motivating them to deliver results.
- Develop strategies to create competitive differentiation and drive business growth.
- Lead project teams, enhance strategic thinking, and understand client KPIs and objectives.
- Build great client relationships, ensure work exceeds expectations, and navigate difficult conversations.
- Communicate complex ideas clearly, secure alignment, and act as an ambassador for the business.
- Effectively lead a team, build morale, and maintain excellent quality and timeliness of work.
- Organize tasks, delegate, and manage teams to create high-performing teams.
- Provide regular feedback, identify new opportunities, and negotiate strategic agreements.
- At least 7 years of experience in life science/healthcare consulting.
- BSc or higher degree in life sciences; a PhD is desirable but not required.
- Experience working with pharmaceutical and biotech organizations to deliver commercial strategy.
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the operating environment, industry, and market factors.
- Preferably have specific experience with early-stage companies.
- Background in Management Consultancy, with experience in defining clinical development plans and early new product planning.
- Regulatory experience and a track record of guiding companies through the regulatory landscape.
- Possess a demonstrable track record in Business Development and growth.
