Role Overview:

The Head of Sales will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and leading the UK sales operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand market presence and achieve revenue targets
  • Identifying and prioritizing key market segments, including fleet operators, municipalities, commercial property developers, and residential users
  • Building, managing, and inspiring a high-performing sales team across regions
  • Setting clear performance targets, coaching, and mentoring team members, and fostering a results-driven, collaborative sales culture
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing actionable feedback to ensure the team meets KPIs
  • Staying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities in the EV charging space
  • Analyzing market data to refine sales strategies, product positioning, and customer acquisition tactics
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, including large corporations, government entities, and infrastructure providers
  • Working closely with marketing to create and implement lead generation and brand awareness campaigns
  • Providing regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior leadership

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in sales leadership roles, ideally within the EV charging, renewable energy, or tech sector
  • A strong background in B2B and enterprise sales with a focus on hardware solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing sales teams
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills with the ability to foster a positive sales culture
  • Ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies in a rapidly evolving market
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a talent for building relationships at all levels of an organisation
