We are pleased to announce an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated Senior Psychiatric Consultant to join a renowned healthcare organization specializing in complex neurological care. This role is situated within a nursing facility that focuses on providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for individuals aged 18 and above.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of the Mental Health Act, ensuring adherence to clinical policies and standards while managing relevant administrative duties for service users.
  • Conduct audits to assess and enhance the quality of medical services, ensuring that clinical practices are evidence-based and meet high standards.
  • Collaborate with external partners to facilitate the transition of service users back into the community.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and review patient care.
  • Ensure the effective operation of the Care Programme Approach for all service users.
  • Participate in the evaluation of referrals to ensure appropriate admissions that meet the service's criteria.
  • Contribute to the professional development and training of staff across various disciplines.
  • Engage in Clinical Governance activities to uphold service quality.
