You will be responsible for managing inquiries, ensuring customers are kept informed, and effectively assisting with the planning, prioritization, and completion of various tasks.

Freebridge Community Housing stands as the largest housing provider in our region, having been established to manage the transfer of homes from local governance. Currently, we oversee approximately 7,000 properties, positively influencing the lives of thousands within our communities. With an annual turnover of £30 million and a workforce exceeding 200, including our dedicated Property Services team, we have made significant strides in enhancing the living standards of our tenants.

Please note this position is a fixed-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize various communication channels to address and respond to customer inquiries, including:
    • Assessing customer issues related to their homes or community areas for necessary repairs.
    • Processing requests for modifications to homes that require approval.
    • Facilitating applications for adaptations to support independent living.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to manage customer requests and inquiries, taking ownership of the process.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, surveyors, and operational staff to foster continuous service improvements.
  • Comprehend customer circumstances and availability to effectively prioritize and schedule tasks, minimizing disruption.
  • Assist in communicating with customers regarding planned works, complaints, repairs, landlord permissions, adaptations, and more.
