About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our Directorate Management Team as a Deputy General Manager. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong understanding of strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deputise for the General Manager and Head of Nursing to ensure strategic and operational demands are met.
  • Accountable for the delivery of clinical services within and across the directorate, assessing the impact of change and making decisions.
  • Provide advice to the General Manager and the Directorate Management Team on strategic and operational matters.
  • Support the Clinical Director and General Manager in developing and delivering a strategic vision for the directorate.
  • Implement and manage systems and processes to ensure all services are delivered in accordance with Trust-wide policies.
  • Direct line management responsibility for the directorate service managers and the delivery and performance management of those services.
