Director of Fundraising & Communications

Bristol Charities is seeking an experienced fundraising professional to lead their development efforts and oversee a growing communications function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, leadership experience, and the ability to align fundraising and communications strategies.

About the Role

This is an exciting new opportunity to join a dynamic charity at a time of significant growth and change. The Director of Fundraising will play a key role in shaping the charity's future and securing the resources needed to deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement fundraising plans to support delivery of all projects and programmes
  • Lead the fundraising function and oversee a small but growing communications team
  • Align fundraising and communications strategies to maximize impact
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues, and Trustees to deliver fundraising and marketing objectives
Requirements
  • Extensive fundraising experience in a compatible context
  • Relevant professional qualifications or qualified through experience
  • Leadership experience at a senior executive level
