Position Overview

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to become a part of the Executive Support Team at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. This position plays a crucial role in assisting senior management in realizing the Trust's strategic objectives aimed at enhancing patient care and community health. The role involves dedicated assistance to a specific Chief Officer, while also requiring adaptability to support any Chief Officer in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. The ideal candidate will be a self-assured communicator with exceptional organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail. Reporting directly to the Executive Support Manager, you will be encouraged to share innovative ideas for service enhancement utilizing the UHCWi improvement framework.

Key Responsibilities

Meeting Coordination

  • Organize and facilitate various formal meetings throughout the Trust, including those led by chief officers and corporate gatherings.
  • Assist team members by providing administrative support to chief officers.
  • Document detailed minutes and ensure accurate records of decisions are preserved.
  • Manage meeting logistics while upholding the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Administrative Duties

  • Deliver secretarial support to the assigned chief officer.
  • Address inquiries, oversee calendars, and maintain efficient office systems.
  • Coordinate events, manage procurement, and communicate effectively with executive directors.
