Position Summary:
We are currently seeking Event Safety Personnel to join our dynamic team on a flexible basis. The primary objective of this role is to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all attendees at our events.
Work Schedule:
This position is offered on a casual basis, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are adaptable and may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
Compensation for this role begins at £11.44 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and uphold responsibilities regarding the Health, Safety, and Welfare of all guests, fellow staff, and oneself.
- Conduct safety inspections and assessments.
- Manage the flow of guests entering and exiting the venue to maintain order and safety.
- Support the safe operation of the venue during events.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and critical points, including fire exits and secured areas.
- Assess crowd dynamics to ensure safe movement and prevent overcrowding.
- Assist guests and emergency services during any incidents.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including initiating alarms and taking immediate action.
- Carry out specific tasks during emergencies as directed by event or security management.
- Provide basic first aid assistance when necessary.
- Willingness to pursue NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
