Event Staff

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Event Stewarding Staff to join our team on a casual basis. As an Event Stewarding Staff, you will play a vital role in providing our guests with an exceptional customer experience for every event attended at Coventry Building Society Arena.
Key Responsibilities:
- To understand their general responsibilities towards the Health, Safety and Welfare of all customers, other stewards, staff members and themselves.
- To carry out safety checks and control or direct customers who are entering or leaving the venue, to help achieve an even flow of people to and from the venue.
- To assist in the safe operation of the venue, including staffing entrances, exits and other strategic points, and recognising crowd conditions to ensure the safe ingress, circulation and egress of the event and the prevention of overcrowding.
- To assist customers and emergency services in the event of an emergency, and to respond to emergencies, such as the early stages of a fire, by raising the alarm and taking the necessary immediate action.
- To undertake specific duties in an emergency or as directed by an event manager or security manager, and to provide basic emergency first aid.
- To be willing to undertake NVQ Level 2 Spectator Safety.
- To perform any other duties deemed reasonable for the role.
