Event Staff

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event SIA Staff to join our team on a casual basis. As an Event SIA Staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our guests at Coventry Building Society Arena.
Key Responsibilities:
- To understand and adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all customers, staff, and yourself.
- To control access and egress to the venue, responding to incidents and reporting as necessary.
- To search bags and the public upon arrival, monitoring crowd safety and behavior.
- To carry out safety checks and assist in the safe operation of the venue.
- To staff entrances, exits, and other strategic points, ensuring a smooth flow of people.
- To recognize crowd conditions and prevent overcrowding, particularly in aisles and atrium doors.
- To assist customers and emergency services in the event of an emergency.
- To respond to emergencies, raise the alarm, and take necessary action.
- To undertake specific duties in an emergency or as directed by an event manager or security manager.
- To provide basic emergency first aid.
- To hold a valid SIA License.
