We present an engaging opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic, and empathetic leader to oversee our teams within Inclusion Recovery Hampshire, a support service focused on drug and alcohol treatment for those affected by substance use.

As a vital member of our leadership team, you will supervise a group of professionals managing their own client caseloads, providing health support through testing clinics for blood borne viruses (BBVs), embracing recovery principles, and delivering evidence-based psychosocial interventions to service users. You will be accountable for the daily operations of the hub you lead, ensuring that high-quality and effective treatment is accessible to those utilizing the service, while also mentoring and supporting a team of recovery workers, engagement workers, administrators, and trainees.

Key Responsibilities

Full-time Service Operations Supervisor (working hours per week) at Inclusion Recovery Hampshire.

You will play a crucial role in a leadership team, making a significant impact on the lives of individuals and the broader communities we serve.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Inclusion Management team to ensure service objectives are met by mentoring and supervising staff, while taking a lead role in service promotion and encouraging new clients into treatment.
  • Assisting staff in delivering person-centered treatment to their assigned clients.
  • Working closely with the Service Manager, Service Leads, and other Team Leaders on a daily basis to ensure effective service delivery and staff support.
  • Guiding and supporting your team in providing high-quality, inclusive, and non-judgmental treatment to those in need.

Job Responsibilities Summary

  • Oversee the daily operations of the hub, including establishing a schedule of activities for service users and staff rotas.
  • Supervise, manage, and develop your staff team.
  • Ensure the hub provides high-quality, effective, and person-centered treatment to those accessing the service.
  • Conduct HR processes such as managing attendance, performance improvement planning, and staff appraisals.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and induction of new staff members.
  • Support your staff team in achieving targets set by commissioners.
  • Analyze data from the work performed to assist your team in their daily operations.
  • Promote Service User Involvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, partner agencies, and other organizations.
  • Contribute to county-wide management and governance meetings.

Required Experience

Essential

  • Previous experience in the drug and alcohol sector.
  • Prior line management or leadership experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Foundation Degree/HNC in a related field, which may include counseling, social work, nursing, psychology, human resources, social studies, leadership, and management.
