Key Responsibilities

This position plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to brokers, focusing on Connectivity, Communication, Culture, and Education at corporate, regional, and local levels. The incumbent will spearhead projects and oversee the broker experience, which includes direct engagement with brokers and the creation of educational platforms for onsite training (Broker Learning Experience), local sessions, and virtual learning opportunities. This role serves as the primary contact for all broker curriculum related to the broker academy.

The position is integral to the Client Service process, addressing internal educational requirements. It is essential for the advancement of Client Services in client service processes and Account Management training, as well as Direct Servicing training for account managers. Under the guidance of the Manager of Client Service & Market Relations, and in collaboration with the External Partner Training group, the role will develop and present interactive sessions aimed at enhancing broker partners' understanding of The FM Global Group's unique competitive advantages. The efforts of this role align with FM Global Group's overarching Key Result Area (KRA) objectives.

The objective is to empower our Client Service Teams (CSTs) to deliver our products and services effectively, whether directly to clients or through our extensive network of broker partners. Clients and brokers should clearly articulate the reasons for choosing to collaborate with FM Global.

Brokers are vital allies of FM Global and its policyholder/owners. Nurturing these relationships is a cornerstone of our corporate strategy. As a member of the Client Service division, this role is dedicated to preserving and enhancing FM Global's commitment to long-term broker partnerships and Client Service development.

The incumbent will design and conduct engaging training and marketing sessions for brokers, either at their local offices or regionally. Coordination with Operations Management and Account Teams is essential to maximize the value of these sessions.

The role will also oversee the maintenance, development, and delivery of Property Insurance Essentials, Broker Learning Experiences, and other formal external broker training initiatives (both in-person and virtual) on a global scale.

Participation and presentations at various FM Global Group broker events, including the Broker Engineering Forum and Broker Advisory Council meetings, are expected.

The position will gather market intelligence and feedback from broker partners during face-to-face interactions.

Additionally, the role will serve as a resource to assist Operations in coaching local account teams on broker relationships, communication, and the Client Service Process.

The incumbent will explore opportunities to enhance the visibility of FM Global Group's message, strengths, and market presence.

This position is accountable for fostering global regional relationships with FM Global's broker partners, addressing their training needs, and advocating for their interests within our organization. Regular and systematic visits to brokers are essential to enhance our market presence and serve as FM Global's primary liaison with brokers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (4-year)
  • CPCU or other relevant industry designations are preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with a comprehensive understanding of The FM Global Group's operations and business model, including frontline account team experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in managing broker relationships, delivering presentations, and facilitating group learning in a classroom setting.
  • Broad knowledge of company operations, the engineering value proposition, and implementation strategies.
  • Management and/or sales experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Approximately 15+ years of experience in the FM Global Group or industry is preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with broker partners of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Demonstrated skills in creating and delivering presentations on diverse topics to a wide range of audiences.
  • Proven experience in designing classroom-style activities and facilitating group discussions tailored to the audience, venue, message, and desired outcomes.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while coordinating with various departments and operations.
  • A demonstrated cross-disciplinary knowledge and credibility.
