About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Customer Service Advisor to join our team at Wiltshire Farm Foods. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our elderly customers, taking orders over the phone or via the internet, and making outbound courtesy calls to ensure their needs are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Take telephone and internet orders, and make outbound calls to customers and prospects to ensure excellent customer service.
- Support drivers with route planning for the next day's delivery rounds.
- Update customer records and liaise with customer relatives as required.
- Ensure customers' needs are met, including providing information on cooking, storing, and re-ordering meals.
- Prepare promotional literature and communicate details of new products or promotions to customers.
- Search for new business opportunities and share best practices with colleagues to continuously improve our service proposition.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer service role, with a confident telephone manner and ability to pay attention to detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines and be numerate, with good written English skills (GCSE Maths & English standard or equivalent).
- Desirable: experience working in the elderly/care market, team environment, and full UK driving license.
