About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Delivery Driver/Pickup Specialist. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering frozen meals to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver frozen meals to customers in a safe and timely manner
  • Pick up orders from our cold storage facility
  • Use our mobile app to update customers on delivery status
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspections
  • Drive safely and responsibly
  • Clean and maintain company vehicles
  • Communicate with the office team regarding any issues or delays
  • Ensure customer confidentiality
  • Assist the office and picking teams as needed
  • Report any health and safety concerns, stock quality issues, or mechanical problems
  • Participate in local marketing activities, such as leaflet distribution and sheltered housing visits
Requirements
  • Experience in a customer service role
  • Full UK manual driving license
  • Basic computer literacy, including use of phone apps
  • Evidence of stable work history
  • Basic secondary education
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in a multi-drop delivery role
  • Experience in a care-based role
  • Warehouse experience
  • Health and safety awareness
Personal Qualities
  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service
  • Good attendance and timekeeping

Please note that all offers of employment are subject to a driving assessment, driving license checks, and DBS checks. As this role involves working with vulnerable customers, it is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Standard DBS Disclosure.
