Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to join our team at Bath Bid. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving all main financial and administrative processes, while also contributing to the company's growth and direction.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Ensure accurate and timely bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and statutory reporting.
- Payroll and Personnel Finances: Process monthly payroll in both the UK and France, handle deductions, and invoicing as applicable.
- Treasury and Risk Management: Oversee payments, bank account management, and optimize foreign exchange exposure and savings interest positions.
- Process Design and Governance: Provide input to process design and ensure suitable governance is in place to control financial risk.
- Communication and Collaboration: Possess strong communication skills and interact with property owners, staff, and suppliers.
- Experience in financial management, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting principles.
- Ability to work with multiple currencies and bank accounts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
