About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Hays Senior Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading all financial aspects of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Manage a small team of finance professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Oversee financial reporting, including monthly and annual accounts, and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Monitor cash flow and currency requirements, and implement strategies to optimize financial performance
  • Support year-end audit processes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Director of Finance and other senior leaders

Requirements

We are looking for a qualified accountant with strong technical skills and experience in a similar role. You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of financial systems and processes, and be able to analyze data to inform business decisions.
