As a key member of the finance team, you will provide support to the finance director during a busy period, ensuring the company's financial stability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the accounting function, negotiating insurance price uplifts and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Produce financial reports, providing written commentary on month-end performance to the Head of Finance.
- Support the Head of Finance in the production of year-end statutory accounts and annual budgets.
- Create and maintain financial reports for non-financial stakeholders.
- Review month-end reconciliations, highlighting issues to the Head of Finance.
- Support and train the finance team, ensuring compliance with financial and industry regulations.
- Engage with external partners, such as auditors, banks, and insurance companies.
- Lead on intercompany reconciliations and undertake ad-hoc project work.
- Immediate availability as an experienced senior finance interim.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is essential.
- An interim contract starting as soon as possible, initially for 4-6 months.
- A competitive daily rate.
- A hybrid/flexible working arrangement.
