Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our dynamic team at Pertemps Bond. This role is essential in maintaining the financial health of our organization through effective credit management and collections processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bank Reconciliation: Prepare, log, allocate bank statements, and address any discrepancies.
  • Account Management: Record new accounts, request credit reports, and dispatch acceptance letters.
  • National Accounts Coordination: Allocate payments, manage POD requests, and resolve queries.
  • Customer Payment Support: Assist with card payment requests from clients and branches on a daily basis.
  • Interdepartmental Communication: Liaise with branches and credit control to manage account statuses and payment requests.
  • Account Monitoring: Refer concerning accounts to the Group Credit Manager for further action.
  • System Updates: Ensure accurate customer account information in the AS400 system as needed.
  • Credit Agency Collaboration: Support the preparation of Depot review lists for credit agencies and verify online credit limits monthly.
  • Resource Management: Oversee the ordering and management of depot and customer payment books.
  • Cheque Processing: Prepare and deposit any cheques received at the head office.
  • Invoice Management: Send copy invoices via email or post as required.
  • IT Coordination: Collaborate with the IT department to set up customer accounts for electronic invoicing.
  • Documentation: Dispatch storage and insurance letters to branches.
  • Call Handling: Participate in overflow call management as part of the team.
  • General Administration: Perform other reasonable administrative duties as needed, especially during peak periods.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
This position is office-based, with no option for hybrid or remote work. A valid driving license is required for this role. We look forward to your application.
