Key Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries
  • Coordinate with the HR department for changes affecting payroll
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
  • Prepare reports for senior management as needed
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
  • Assist in payroll audits
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Requirements

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • A strong background in a Payroll position
  • Proficiency in payroll software
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to handle queries effectively
