About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team at Reed. As an HR Assistant, you will play a key part in delivering HR support across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Ensure the recruitment process runs efficiently and smoothly from advertising vacancies, responding to and contacting candidates, interviewing, making job offers, and liaising with recruitment agencies.
  • Employee Management: Manage the onboarding process for all new starters, including obtaining personnel information, processing and issuing contract packs, checking Right To Work evidence, and planning and delivering inductions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR team, including typing minutes of meetings, responding to internal and external HR-related enquiries, and maintaining personnel records through our HR software system.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Ensure all relevant information is processed and included on the payroll spreadsheet ready for submission to the finance department.
  • Employee Engagement: Coordinate and assist managers administratively with our annual staff reviews, manage and report on staff surveys, and coordinate social events.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Show attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the job, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Be a team player, willing to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
