Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our client, a leading Car Dealership Group, in a newly created role. This is an excellent opportunity for a Financial Professional to take on a challenging and rewarding position, working closely with the Dealership Accountant to drive the financial performance of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Control: Oversee the financial health of 3 sites, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and implementing effective financial control processes.
- Balance Sheet Management: Assist with balance sheet control, risk management, and audit preparation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Inventory Management: Ensure inventory checks meet internal requirements, and manage working capital and ongoing cost reviews.
- Purchase and Sales Ledger Management: Manage the purchase and sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
- Experience: Proven experience working in a similar role, preferably within the motor industry.
- Skills: Strong financial management skills, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACCA or CIMA.
- Competitive Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
