About the Role
- As a Senior Accounting Professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of 3 sites, ensuring all financial control and accounting processes are in place.
- You will work closely with the Dealership Accountant to make a real difference to the operational performance of the company.
- Your focus will be on managing risk and working capital matters, ensuring inventory checks meet internal requirements, and managing the purchase and sales ledger.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with local management, as well as divisional and group-level accounting staff, to ensure a consistent approach.
- Manage risk and working capital matters, ensuring all accounts office tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Fund vehicles on the Used Vehicle Funding Portal and settle them as and when they are sold.
- Chase aged debtors and ensure all financial transactions are up-to-date.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including bank reconciliations, manufacturer bonus debt reconciliations, and management accounts.
- Calculate and post accruals and prepayments, and assist with the production of management accounts.
- Assist with the sales and purchase ledger close, and review aged debtor reports.
