We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our client, a leading Car Dealership Group, as an Assistant Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded individual to take on a key role in the financial management of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with local management, divisional, and group-level accounting staff to ensure a consistent approach to financial management.
- Manage risk and working capital matters, ensuring the financial health of the business is maintained.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including balance sheet control, inventory checks, and cost reviews.
- Assist with the production of management accounts, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Manage the purchase and sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounts office tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably within the motor industry.
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
