We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our client, a leading Car Dealership Group, as they expand their operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially-minded accounting professional to take on a key role in the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with local management, divisional, and group-level accounting staff to ensure a consistent approach to financial management.
- Manage risk and working capital matters, ensuring the company's financial health is maintained.
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of 3 sites, including balance sheet control and audit management.
- Assist with the production of management accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Manage working capital and ongoing cost reviews, ensuring the company's financial performance is optimized.
- Purchase and sales ledger management, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Requirements:
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably within the motor industry.
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, with a focus on commercial acumen.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
