Eden Scott is seeking a highly skilled Communications and Engagement Officer to join their team. As a key member of the company's communications team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of renewable energy projects and the company's long-term strategy to expand into new geographical and technology markets.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Communication Planning and Execution

Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop and implement effective communication plans that align with the company's business objectives.


2. Media and Stakeholder Engagement

Support the management of the company's press office, including proactive and reactive media engagement, to maintain a positive public image and reputation.


3. Content Creation and Management

Develop and create high-quality content across various platforms and audiences, including short and long-form content, to engage stakeholders and promote the company's brand.


4. Internal Communications and Stakeholder Management

Manage the company's intranet and support various internal communication activities to ensure effective stakeholder engagement and information sharing.


5. STEM Programme and School Engagement

Manage the company's STEM programme and engage with schools to promote education and career development in the renewable energy sector.


6. Stakeholder Engagement and Management

Engage with various external stakeholders, including suppliers and partners, to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.


7. CSR Strategies and Activities

Support the company's CSR strategies and activities to promote sustainability and social responsibility.


8. Event Management and Coordination

Support the organisation and delivery of events, such as trade exhibitions and project public consultations, to promote the company's brand and services.


Requirements:


1. Public Relations and Stakeholder Engagement Experience

At least two years of experience in public relations, media relations, or stakeholder engagement is required.


2. Industry Experience

Experience working in the infrastructure, manufacturing, construction, or similar industries would be highly desirable.
