Job Title: Renewable Energy Communications Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Communications Specialist to join our team at Red Rock Power Limited. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our renewable energy projects and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with our Communications Manager to develop and implement effective communication plans that align with our business objectives.
  • Manage our company press office, including proactive and reactive media engagement, to maintain a positive reputation and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Create high-quality content across various platforms and audiences, including short and long-form writing, to engage and inform our stakeholders.
  • Oversee the management of our company intranet and support various internal communication activities to ensure seamless information sharing and collaboration.
  • Lead the management of our STEM programme and school engagement initiatives to promote our company's commitment to education and community development.
  • Engage with a range of external stakeholders, including investors, customers, and partners, to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Support the development and implementation of our company's CSR strategies and activities to enhance our reputation and contribute to the community.
  • Assist with the organization and delivery of events, such as trade exhibitions and project public consultations, to showcase our company's expertise and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support for communication activities, including engaging with suppliers and managing procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in public relations, media relations, public affairs, or stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels, on the telephone, face-to-face, and in writing.
  • Ability to write for a variety of audiences and channels, including video production and editing.
  • Skilled across various digital and social media channels, with a strong understanding of online platforms and tools.
  • Experience in event management, stakeholder management, and external communications.
  • Desirable qualifications in public relations, marketing, or politics (HNC, undergraduate, or post-graduate).
