Communications and Stakeholder Manager - Renewable Energy


Eden Scott is pleased to be supporting their Renewable Energy Developer client with the appointment of a Communications and Stakeholder Manager. This represents an excellent opportunity for a public affairs, communications, media relations or stakeholder management professional to further develop their career within the renewable energy sector.


As Communications and Stakeholder Manager, you will work together with our client's Communications Director and Senior Management team to support the delivery of their renewable energy projects and the business' long-term strategy to expand into new geographical and technology markets. You will provide administrative and operational support on a variety of internal and external communication functions, taking responsibility for key streams of work.


This is an opportunity for someone looking to build on existing experience by working in a small communications team with a wide scope of responsibilities including:


  1. Work with Communications Director to create and implement successful communication plans
  2. Support the management of company press office, including proactive and reactive media engagement
  3. Create short and long-form content across a variety of platforms and audiences
  4. Manage company intranet and support various internal communication activities
  5. Manage company's STEM programme and school engagement
  6. Engage with a variety of external stakeholders and manage stakeholder management system
  7. Support company's CSR strategies and activities
  8. Support the organisation and delivery of events, such as the company's presence at trade exhibitions and Project public consultations
  9. Assist with the administration of communication activities, including engaging with suppliers and managing procurement processes.

Requirements:


  1. At least two years of public relations, media relations or stakeholder engagement experience
  2. Experience working in the Infrastructure, Manufacturing, Construction or similar industries would be preferable
