About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Specialist to join our team at BayWa r.e. AG. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our solar energy plants and wind farms across the UK and Ireland.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the Head of SHEQ in all aspects of day-to-day Operational and Project Site SHEQ management. This will involve conducting audits of internal and subcontractor activities, reviewing audit findings with Project Managers, and supporting the closure of action items.

You will also be responsible for carrying out investigations into hazardous observations, near misses, or incidents that may occur on our projects, reporting findings, and monitoring corrective actions. Additionally, you will communicate with internal and external partners on all SHEQ matters, including external auditors, and support the internal team with SHEQ training roll out.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong Health and Safety background, with a minimum NEBOSH Cert qualification (or equivalent). You will also need to be willing to undertake quality management training or have a quality management qualification. A valid UK driving license is also required.
