Job Summary:

Hunter AHP is seeking an experienced Acute Occupational Therapist to join our team in Lincoln. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to patients on the Trauma, Acute Medical, and Elderly wards
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans to promote patient independence and well-being
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery

Requirements:

  • Band 6/7 Acute Occupational Therapist with experience in acute care settings
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours
