About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team as a Safeguarding Officer. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities
As a Safeguarding Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and coordinating safeguarding enquiries relating to adults at risk
- Assessing and managing risk to ensure the safety and well-being of adults
- Developing and implementing plans to promote the outcomes of adults experiencing abuse or neglect
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and maintained registration with the relevant professional body
- Post-qualifying practice experience in adult safeguarding
- A secure understanding of adult safeguarding policies and procedures, including the Care Act 2014
