About the Role

Bassingham Surgery is a busy, forward-thinking dispensing practice seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our close-knit team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality patient-centered care and work in a well-established practice with an excellent reputation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work autonomously within their professional scope of practice, providing acute care for patients via face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations. They will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care, making necessary referrals for investigations in the appropriate manner.

Person Specification

  • Experience of working within a nursing team
  • Ability to autonomously provide clinical assessment and diagnosis
  • Varied role involving face-to-face, telephone, and online consultations, telephone triage, palliative care management, and home visits

Qualifications

  • Recognised Nurse Practitioner qualification at a minimum of degree level or equivalent
  • Strong clinical skills, decision-making, and a patient-centered approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team

About Us

Bassingham Surgery is part of South Lincoln Healthcare PCN, working alongside six other practices to provide a range of services, including a Home Health Team, Occupational Therapists, First Contact Physios, Clinical Pharmacy Team, Health & Wellbeing Coach, Mental Health Practitioner, and Care Coordinators.
