Therapy Team Lead - Front Door Service

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to lead our Front Door Therapy team at Lincoln Hospital. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centred care and driving the development of the acute front door therapy service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a developing and experienced clinical team of therapy staff of Bands 2-6
  • Support the development of Therapy staff as part of the wider MDT to deliver evidence-based interventions in the front door and frailty specialty
  • Work closely with senior team members, professional leads, and Head of Therapies to promote independence, provide rapid assessments, and facilitate safe, timely, and appropriate discharges
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless transitions of care

Requirements:

  • Wide-ranging clinical experience as a Senior Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Passion for delivering high-quality patient-centred care
  • Strong leadership and management skills
