Band 6/7 Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist or occupational therapist to lead our front door therapy team at Lincoln Hospital. As a Band 6/7 Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing and developing your team to ensure a high standard of therapy service is delivered for the Frailty and Front door specialty.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a senior physiotherapist or occupational therapist to join our team and contribute to the development of the acute front door therapy service. You will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to promote independence, provide rapid assessments, and facilitate safe, timely, and appropriate discharges within the Emergency departments, medical assessment units, and any other admission unit within Lincoln County Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a developing clinical team of therapy staff of Bands 2-6
- Support the development of Therapy staff as part of the wider MDT to deliver evidence-based interventions in the front door and frailty specialty
- Work closely with senior team members, professional leads, Head of Therapies, and manage, supervise the development of staff members within the team
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and patient flow
- Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy
- Evidence of relevant postgraduate courses/CPD at master's levels/research relevant to specialty
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent at Grade C or above including English Language and Maths
- IELTS level 7 for staff whose first language is not English
- Registration with HCPC
- Supervisory skills
- Membership of CSP/BAOT
- Active membership of a relevant CSP Professional Network
