About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Front Door Therapy team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a senior band 6 physiotherapist, you will provide and develop high-quality physiotherapy services in the Frailty and Front Door specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse or complex presentations, using acquired clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques.
  • Formulate and deliver individual physiotherapy treatment programmes based on evidence-based practice and treatment options.
  • Take delegated responsibility for managing patients with complex conditions and provide specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment plans.
  • Assess patient understanding of treatment proposals, gain valid informed consent, and work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent to treatment.
  • Manage clinical risk within your patient caseload.
  • Comply with the Trust Manual Handling Policy and local therapeutic handling guidance.
  • Deal sensitively with patients who have high levels of anxiety and aggression caused by pain, dementia, or limited mobility.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) standards of practice.
