About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist/Practitioner to join our dynamic team at Lincolnshire County Council. As a Safeguarding Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of adults at risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate safeguarding enquiries, working with other professionals to assess and manage risk and ensure plans are in place to promote wellbeing and safeguard adults at risk.
- Develop and maintain a secure, sound understanding of adult safeguarding, including S42 enquiries, Multi-Agency Safeguarding Panels (MSP), and the Care Act 2014.
- Work under the leadership of Safeguarding Principal Practitioners, performing statutory safeguarding duties set out in the Care Act 2014 and reflected in Lincolnshire's multi-agency and internal safeguarding policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist/Practitioner.
- Post-qualifying practice experience in adult safeguarding.
- A secure, sound understanding of adult safeguarding, including S42 enquiries, MSP, and the Care Act 2014.
