About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Management Specialist to join our team at Workman LLP. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of a diverse property portfolio consisting of commercial, industrial, and retail properties.

Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional service to our clients, including institutional fund management clients, and supervising a number of other property managers, graduates, and on-site staff. You will work closely with our Property Accounts team to ensure that all financial information is reported accurately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain close professional relationships with clients, tenants, and colleagues.
  • Prepare formal and detailed client reports on the property management service, quarterly, annually, and on an ad hoc basis.
  • Administer and record rental and other income, including tenant indebtedness, accurately.
  • Oversee the service charge expenditure and ensure tenants comply with all lease obligations.
  • Provide professional advice and support to clients on value enhancement assets, rent reviews, lettings, and lease renewal programs.
  • Upsell specialist services and utilize knowledge from our Environmental and Sustainability team, Building Surveying services, and introduce placemaking initiatives alongside our Activate team.
  • Other duties may include:
    • Overseeing the provision of common services to properties and tenants.
    • Working with landlords and tenants on all other matters relating to the clients' property portfolio.
    • Undertaking or arranging property inspections.
    • Assisting clients in the acquisition and disposal of properties.
    • Dealing with tenant applications for consent to assign, sublet, and alter.

Requirements

  • A proactive, practical, and positive approach to work.
  • Excellent and professional communication skills with the ability to build gravitas amongst clients.
  • Being MRICS is preferred.
  • A willingness to support the early careers of our Graduates and Apprentices working towards their professional qualification.
