About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Orrery in Marylebone. As a key member of our restaurant management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service, high-quality food, and efficient food preparation.
  • Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and training to ensure excellent service standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to maintain profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably in a high-end or luxury setting.
  • Proven track record of success in customer service, staff management, and operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
