Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Baxendale Mason Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurants, managing staff performance, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts and payroll for restaurant staff
  • Supervise kitchen and wait staff, providing assistance and guidance as needed
  • Coordinate communication between front-of-house and back-of-house staff
  • Prepare shift schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Process payroll for all restaurant staff
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements to our menus

Requirements

  • Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable
  • Good math and reporting skills
  • Customer service attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within opening hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Certification in hospitality is a plus
