Job Title: Operations Manager

Join Vox Network Consultants as an Operations Manager and take on a challenging role in our Homeless Prevention and Housing Allocations Teams.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Homeless Prevention and Housing Allocations Teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of the council's allocation and re-housing services, including maintenance of the housing register and transfer list and resolution of accepted homeless cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Homeless Prevention and Housing Allocations Teams and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to residents in need of housing advice and assistance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, including the development of new processes and procedures.
  • Manage and develop the skills of team members, including training and coaching.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, including key performance indicators and service delivery metrics.
Requirements
  • Significant management experience in leading a demand-led, front-facing team involving interviewing and assessing clients' needs for assistance.
  • Experience of complex case work and the application of case work management systems.
  • A successful track record operating at a management level in a Housing or similar organization.
  • Experience of identifying, developing, and implementing innovative, cost-effective solutions that lead to improved business processes and service improvements using recognized improvement methods.
  • Experience of successfully managing a complex project involving a range of partners.
  • Experience of managing a complex budget.
