Facilities Operations Manager

Salary: £250 - £400 per day
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our facilities, including housekeeping, engineering, security, cleaning, pest control, waste management, landscaping, and postal services.
Key Responsibilities- Take overall responsibility for the quality and operational delivery of FM services across the UK campus.
- Be the key point of contact to the client and ensure excellent customer service.
- Demobilise both sites, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Accountable for the operational delivery of two sites and the organisational, operational, technical compliance and governance.
- Drive operational excellence across the team and identify, minimise and manage operational risk.
- Liaise with the 1team and other key stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Own the operational delivery and manage the customer journey and day-to-day delivery of all services.
- Local performance management of all services, driving excellence through regular auditing and service partner engagement.
- Manage, monitor and report on the operational performance.
- Assist in project delivery from a facilities perspective, ensuring projects and events run smoothly.
- Ensure full statutory and operational compliance is achieved in line with contract.
- Support building user Customer Experience NPS survey, looking for opportunities to drive improved experience and overall scores.
- Play a pivotal role in the disaster recovery and business continuity management, following the agreed processes and procedures.
- Build an effective and cohesive team, driving a customer excellence culture.
- Have a passion for leading and creating an environment for everyone to thrive.
- Can work across and take the lead within a large driven team.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Proven knowledge/experience of FM practice.
- Commercial awareness.
- Good report writing skills.
- Flexible attitude.
- Experience of working in a challenging fast-paced environment.
- H&S safety trained to IOSH or Nebosh level.
